Program Properties

The Program Properties inspector is organised as a tree in which the various settings are grouped. You can not modify any of the settings using the inspector but you can view and print the complete tree for future (or historical) reference.

By default, the Inspector takes a snapshot of the settings that were in effect when the Properties Dialog is loaded and does not automatically update itself when changes are made to individual settings. Click on the Refresh button to update the display to include your changes.

Circle Dock's properties are stored in encrypted form (from Version 1 onwards). This is necessary as the passphrase used to lock the program in Kiosk Mode is also stored in this file. If you forget the password you can't access the settings. To overcome this, you should create a backup copy of your configuration data using the Backup button. Then, if you forget your password and need to unlock Circle Dock, simply delete the Config.xml file and ensure that your backup copy is named Config.ini and is copied to the System\Settings folder. The next time you open Circle Dock, it will be unlocked and the Properties Dialog is available.
